I grew up in Devon and later spent 13 years working in Human Resource Management in London and overseas; USA, West Indies and Europe. In 1990 I returned to my beloved West Country roots and worked as a learning and development consultant.
I have been working in coaching and counselling since 2000 and hold my Certificate and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Iron Mill Institute, Exeter. Alongside my Private Practice, I have recently spent time teaching counselling students.
I believe counselling can help us to lead a happier life; we can maximise our potential through a gentle journey of self discovery.
Supporting members of the Military and ex military support is an interest of mine and I have organised and participated in a number of fund raising initiatives.
I live on The Blackdown Hills, close to the Devon/Somerset border where I love to walk with my two dogs. This is where my private practice is based in a dedicated room to the rear of my house; it is occasionally possible to work at The Meadows Surgery, Ilminster.
